Case study

Silver Screen International

Broadcast-ready aerial plates for a Mediacorp production house.

Overview

Aerial coverage built for the broadcast edit.

Silver Screen International is an award-winning Singapore production house behind more than a decade of programming for Mediacorp's Channel Suria and Vasantham — drama serials, variety shows and live events. This project supplies the aerial plates their productions need: coverage shot to slot directly into a broadcast timeline, not a standalone showreel.

Creative focus

Footage that earns its place in the edit

A production house works to broadcast deadlines and existing shot lists, so aerial coverage has to arrive ready to cut in — clean establishing shots, reliable transitions, and framing that matches what's already been shot on the ground.

Visual approach

  1. Shot-list alignment

Aerial coverage is planned against the production's own shot list, so every pass has a defined place in the edit.
  2. Establishing plates

Wide aerial shots open scenes and sequences, giving the edit a clear sense of location.
  3. Broadcast-ready delivery

Footage is delivered in the formats and turnaround a TV production schedule requires.
