Case study

ThatNicePlace

A hillside homestay retreat, seen the way an escape should feel.

Overview

A family-run escape in the hills, framed from above.

ThatNicePlace is a family-owned homestay tucked into the hills of Bukit Tinggi, Genting Highlands — a small collection of units built around comfort, style and a quieter pace than the city below. This film uses aerial footage to capture what draws guests up the hill in the first place: the lush surroundings and the sense of arrival that starts long before the front door.

Creative focus

Sell the escape, not just the room

A homestay like this competes on feeling as much as amenities. The creative focus is the journey up into the hills and the green, low-density setting around the property — the things a listing photo can't show but a flight over the hillside can.

Visual approach

  1. The hillside setting

Wide aerial views place the property within the surrounding greenery of Bukit Tinggi.
  2. The approach

Footage traces the route up into the hills, building the sense of leaving the city behind.
  3. The property up close

Closer passes bring the individual units and their setting into focus, grounding the escape in a real place to stay.
